I finally had time to dig out patterns, and yarn, and after watching videos on youtube on how to knit, I finally did it! :)
I knitted 4 pairs of mittens the last 3 days while at work, and I'm loving it! No more cold hands ever! I think socks, and a hat might be next on the list! :)
Knittet on 4, size 7 needles, pattern from "Hats, Mittens & Scarves".
These are up for sale now in my Etsy Shop :)
What are you knitting right now?

I am impressed, I have never been able to knit anything. People have tried helping me, I've read books and watched people knitting on videos. I just never got the hang of it. I can crochet though and have been thinking about crocheting my granddaughter a new neckscarf. She's grown a lot and the last one I made her is just too short now for really wrapping. Great job on your mittens, I love the pink color you chose.

I love your mittens. Are these the first things you have knit? If you can do mittens, socks will be really easy for you. Watch out they are addicting.
I'm knitting scarves and socks. Have you checked out ravelry.com? Lots of patterns and knitting friends there.

Silje, those are fabulous! You should make a few extra pairs for your etsy!! I like the little leaf accents on the orange pair. I've been wanting to learn how to knit for the last while, but I'm still mastering crochet, and loving that! I've been crocheting a lot of neckwarmers. I like to use cashmere and silk yarns.... I guess you could say I've spoiled myself. :)

So adorable! I love the little felt leaves. What a sweet touch.
I'm knitting up the Fetching mitts with some Malabrigo I've been hoarding. Fall makes me want to knit all sorts of cozy things. :) Thanks for posting, love the blog!
Here's the pattern for the Fetching:

SIlje!
When I come to see you in two weeks, while we wait for Elsie's ink to take, can you teach me how to knit? I'll bring my own stuff and everything!
These are fabulous. It looks like you've been doing this for awhile!
