i am so excited to share with you the dream that is coming to life for us this year! I am opening an online art boutique & a real life store location here in my hometown (Springfield, Missouri) called RED VELVET ART! RVA is a shop packed full of independent art, fashion, crafty stuff, music and of course many other charming little secrets!
*sigh*.... here it is. the future home of Red Velvet Art (mhmmm... below my loft on my favorite street in the world!). I'm in love.
The website and shop open February 1! I can't wait to share more and more about this exciting project as the opening date approaches! It really is a dream come true. I've been spending my (late) nights filling my shop with lovely things from the red velvet girls and some of my favorite artists in the whole world!! It's a lovely opportunity to connect and collaborate with other artists. Oh.... so many beautiful things!
Here are a few of my posters. I made these for the doorway of my store...
Thank you sooo much for sharing the excitement with me!!! I am so thankful for you.

ooooooooooh YAY!
This is such a happy announcement. Now that I see the posters, and the window, I'm more excited than ever! This is going to be such a wonderful journey for you, I know it! How cool to share the news with everyone on your birthday too, it's going to be a super year.
I am beyond excited to see things come together... and am I feeling a road trip to Springfield in Feb.??? I think so.

The elders thought Jesus and free food could do it.
They couldn't.
The city-wisemen thought wrought iron sculptures of ??? could do it.
They didn't.
Little did they know the revitalization of Commercial Street simply depended upon a bit of... scrapbookin'.
:D
Trench is quite impressed.

It makes me smile that the store is in Springfield MO. I'm a new reader, looking through your old posts and seeing the city where I was born mentioned is just too cool.
