Tree Centerpiece Pattern

Img_1833_2
This tree centerpiece pattern is a lovely way to show off your favorite scrapbook paper for the holidays. All you need is 4 coordinating, double-sided pieces of scrapbook paper. My Christmas tree measures 6 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" wide at the base.

Cut out the first tree shape for your base. Now is the easiest time to punch holes if you're into see through Christmas trees. You'll need to cut out a sliver of the paper starting from the top and measuring 2" down.

Cut out your second paper and punch holes accordingly. For this tree you'll want to cut out two slivers. One from the bottom up about 5" inches and one from the top down about 1 1/2". Fit this one on top of your base until it rests comfortably. Its important for all of your tree pages to have flat bottoms.

For your third tree page, you'll want to cut 3/4" down from the top and 5 1/2" up from the bottom. Attach to your forming tree stand.

Your last piece will just need a long cut up from the bottom about 6 1/4".

To secure my tree pages, I used fabric paper from the *Love, Elsie* Noel line. I simply cut out the presents shapes while leaving plenty of sturdiness and aligned my trees so that when I attached my tape, they would be equally fanned out. All you need is a star on top to complete your handmade decoration.

Another idea would be to add mini pics of your family and friends to turn it into a scrapbook page display. Thanks for looking!
