Since attending Red Velvet Camp (which was awesome, by the way) I have used my creativity nearly every day. Now it is time to start letting you see what I have been up to. I took some photos yesterday and only had limited time to edit them, but I got one done, and I can't wait to share it.  Since May has begun, I have made a vow to never veg out without doing something. Everytime I sit in front of the TV I have a paintbrush in my hand or a computer on my lap. I feel like I have had a creative make-over!

What a fun photograph! It seems like when I'm "stuck" I just make myself start something, and usually then I want to make a million more things! Great vow though - I think I should vow to quite wasting time perusing the internet! :)

Since May has begun, I have made a vow to never veg out without doing something.

Sounds like a good idea in theory, but you need a rest from always doing something. If not, you will find yourself never resting. This is something I've had to battle with for a while and it's difficult to get out of the habit. GET CRAFTY! But don't forget to veg out sometimes, too :D

Don't get me wrong. I veg. but...I work a lot in a job that is not so much crative, so I have to exercize that part of my brain at least a little each day! Sometimes it is just coating a canvas and sometimes it is doodling...but no matter what, It is like exercising. Have to keep it in shape.

love that photograph, I love looking at vintage children's illustrations to get me inspired and looking at images of wild and antique teddy bears make me want to keep creating. Catherine x
