I learned about cold brewing coffee somewhere...but I just can't remember.
I have always heard that for iced coffee cold brewed is so much better than brewing it hot and letting it cool down. And I think it was. The rumors are true. Is it a huge difference...I don't know. Not really I guess. But an iced coffee with a little toffee nut syrup (I buy this syrup by the bottle from Starbucks) and a little 2% milk on a hot afternoon is divine. Not to mention a nice little pick me up.
Yes, I sometimes reuse my Starbucks cup. But I only do it once and then clean it and recycle-I know you are not suppose to use disposable plastic containers over and over. Because it will kill you. I'm pretty sure that's 100% true.
So here's the skinny: In a coffee pot or large glass jar mix together 4 cups of filtered water and 1/2 cup ground coffee. Allow to seep for 8 to 12 hours. Pour coffee through a strainer covered by a coffee filter to remove coffee grounds. Yes, this is quite black but it gets poured over ice which dilutes it. This makes enough for two medium size servings (or one big Venti). Enjoy!

I am SO excited to try this recipe. I've tried the dunn bros way, and then another way (which I can't remember) and they all turned out to be too dark and WAY too strong. Thanks for posting a recipe that is a smaller portion size too. YAY!

What is the ideal water temperature to make expresso coffee?
It is very important that this is the answer for expresso specifically
and not drip coffee methods

Try using a gold metal filter instead of a paper filter, it leaves all the tasty oils behind that give coffee it's nuances of flavor.

Occasionally seen, he also said simply recently busy. Don't know what he's up to, when the doctor has really so busy? I finally find the work in Thomas Sabo packaging factory, is a new private hospitals. Want to find small to celebrate, but couldn't find him. Call his cell phone; ringing for a long time, there is a woman's voice "hello", immediately disconnected and I found her Thomas Sabo neck black bracelet.
